Allied Telecom Group, the DC-based operator of the region’s newest and fastest network, announced today that Comtel Communications has entered into an agreement to sell the Allied suite of services.  This new opportunity will open the doors for Comtel agents to sell Enterprise-class voice, data, and Ethernet-based services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

“We are very excited to add Allied to our partner portfolio,” said Ben Humphreys, President of Comtel Communications. “Our arrangement helps us address the large capacity needs of our Enterprise customers.  We found that Allied is the regional leader in the Metro Ethernet space with a great reputation in the market.  We are impressed with their agent-friendly program, service delivery, and technical support staff.  We feel that our customers are in great hands.”

“Comtel’s customers have very demanding bandwidth and coverage requirements. Through our robust network and ability to access any building in the market, we are confident that we can easily meet and exceed even the most challenging requirements,” added Oscar Williams, VP of Business Development for Allied Telecom. “We are a great fit to address Comtel’s Enterprise market demands for high capacity, highly reliable broadband and voice services.  We’ve already been very successful with several customer implementations and we look forward to additional growth opportunities.”
