Sales Manager
Allied Telecom Group is looking for a sharp, motivated and highly organized manager to lead our DC Based Sales
team to success. The ideal candidate will posses a strong background in managing a Business to Business Sales Team.
Candidates must have a proven track record of managing teams that consistently exceed their monthly quotas.
Preference will be given to candidates with an ISP / Telecommunications background.
Position Description
The DC Allied Sales Manager organizes, coaches, motivates and leads a direct sales team towards desired results.
This individual is responsible for the combined performance of the team and for ensuring that each sales
representative l reaches their individual targets. The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting a Team Revenue
Quota while maintaining headcount standards as determined by the Director of Sales. The Sales Manager may also
position strategies and execute plans to exceed sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Interview and Recruit Sales Staff
- Train the sales staff of products, selling techniques, and competitive/industry updates.
- Manage team of Enterprise, Senior, & Account Executives in the Baltimore & Washington area.
- Attend appointments with representatives on a daily basis to ensure sales support and success.
- Maintain a team quota by providing support & leadership
- Review all orders for accuracy of product.
- Review proposal for solution and pricing accuracy
- Conduct Weekly One to One meetings with Sales Representative
- Expand market share by increasing Allied Telecom customer base in target markets.
- Assign Buildings and manage territory assignments
- Provide pipeline & activity reporting to Director of Sales.
- Interface with Sales Support Coordinator, Direct of Sales, and technical team as resources.
- Provide needed coaching and the overall organization of the sales team toward achieving and exceeding revenue goals as determined by the Executive Management team.
